The problem is the program is looking for Vista and it won’t run because it sees Windows 7. Browse to the tolder where you extracted the drivers and see if you can load them that way. You do need to hp pavilion dv9700 ethernet controller the chipset driver to install the ethernet adapter. The WLAN light is orange. No i diidnt create a recovery media set.

As I said, there is no support for Winfdows 7 by HP for your notebook. The product number dthernet be found on the same sticker as the serial number.
About the printer, can give more information conteoller how it is connected to your network? It didn’t work however. I can’t connect to my printer and I had to manually find my wireless network as opposed to it connecting automatically. Message 1 of 7.
